As seen on the runway, the "no makeup" look is hot this year. But before using makeup to cover up flaws and strive for a "makeup free" look, change some rutines and work towards a satisfying result. To get perfect skin is like going to the gym, you need to work for it. Some of us more than others.
First of all, you need to ask yourself: Do I drink enough water? You´ve heard it before but we can´t say it too often; water is one of the keys to perfect skin! However, let´s face it, no one´s perfect! Therefore we need to learn the keys to get as close to "perfection" as possible.
- So, if you think that you drink enough water, drink more.
- Wash your face every evening and every night - Never. And we mean NEVER sleep with your makeup on.
- And no, it´s not cute to wake up with makeup all over your face.
- Moisturize your skin. Every evening and every morning. Throw in a hydrating skin mask once a week. Make sure you light some candles and relax. Get your most needed alone time. You´ll thank me.
Remember, a day cream protects us from pollution, makeup and UV rays, along with other environmental stress.
A night cream focuses on recovery and moisture since it´s when we are asleep that our body, mind and skin does all the heavy "repearing" work.
